Updates on happenings with Covenant Advent Church
Published on Saturday, June 15, 2019
This week we are looking at religious liberty from the point of view as to why God has always called out individuals to be separated from their people and are given a message to be a blessing to everyone. The father of the faithful is Abraham who was called out to live and teach true faith. From Abraham’s story we learn the importance of being separated from country, family, and household as a prerequisite to be blessed by God and to be a blessing to others. The person who clings to family and/or country finds it hard to truly experience the power of God in their life.
Genesis12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:
12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
