Go to the ant thou sluggard consider her ways

Today I will mention a few important lessons from the ants in relationship to financial wisdom. “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest”.Proverbs6:6-8

·      Timing is key in gathering up resources (fall for winter)

·      Faithfully perform your duty with talent you currently have

·      It is important to increase activity when there is abundance

·      Energy and activity are important in business

·      Work hard even when it is hot (by the sweat of your brow)

·      Earn much more than you consume

·      Consider earning more when you can (youth, financial boom)

·      When your income increases, store some away, for the guaranteed cold days ahead

·      Remember the queen wants her share (pay your tax)

·      Orderly effort with others can accomplish much more than by yourself

·      One small grain at a time skillfully and patiently used will accomplish large things long term
